Highpower International, Inc. (the “Company”) is still in the process of preparing documents to be filed as exhibits with the 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2010.  Therefore, the Company is unable to file its Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2010 within the prescribed time period.  The Company will file its Annual Report on Form 10-K as soon as possible, and in any event no later than the fifteenth calendar day following the prescribed due date for such report.

Net sales for the year ended December 31, 2010 increased 49% to $104.9 million
Gross profit margin for the year ended December 31, 2010 was 20.8% as compared with 21.4% for the year ended December 31, 2009
Net income for the year ended December 31, 2010 increased 36% to $6.0 million
Fully diluted earnings per share for the year ended December 31, 2010 increased by 36% to $0.44
